Temple Church Wedding
There’s something special about a central London wedding as this was no different but a Temple Church Wedding certainly got my attention!! The setting was stunning, the Temple Church (Knights Templar) which was used in the filming of the famous ‘The Da Vinci Code’. Tucked into a quiet courtyard inside a maze of buildings in the heart of London, The Temple Church is a unique place of worship from the 12th Century that stands as a testament to the Templars who built it.
Kate and Martin had both studied at The Inner Temple as barristers so the location was of great importance to them. Although the weather wasn’t on our side we managed to use our time wisely and get all the shots we wanted.
The reception followed at ‘The Fable’ just a few hundred yards up the road for a wonderful wedding breakfast and evening’s celebrations.
Kind words:- “Matt was exceptional in every regard. Hopefully you only get married once, so there are no second chances at getting the right moments captured. Matt caught everything we could have wanted and did so in such an inconspicuous manner that we really had no idea we were being photographed – he just blended in from start to finish.
From being in several locations across London at the crack of dawn to managing tricky lighting conditions with a temperamental March day, he got the lot and every photo was perfectly balanced. His editing was superb, every photo looked natural which is what we had asked for. He was efficient in getting through the formal photographs without taking up too much time and not once did we have to guide or direct him, he just slotted in and was extremely professional. He was also a pleasure to deal with making the experience a lot more reassuring and simple than it could otherwise have been.
Picking a wedding photographer is not an easy job and you can spend a lot of time trawling through websites, but we can say without any hesitation that if you go with Matt you will be relieved and delighted. He is everything that a wedding photographer should be and we would recommend him to everyone”
Here’s the story of their day……
