Hertford Castle Wedding
The stunning Hertford Castle Wedding of Alex and Russ. The day started with bridal preparations in Hertford where I met Videographer for the day, Tim from Spatz Films. We started with the usual bridal preparation shots in a busy yet relaxed atmosphere at Alex’s parents house. I was delighted to see Alex & Russ had chosen VW Campers and Beetles as the days chosen method of transportation and got to work photographing these unique vehicles in the way they deserve.
A short journey over to the stunning St. Andrew’s Stanstead Abbots followed where the crowds waited eagerly for Alex’s grand arrival. She arrived in style as the white convertible VW Beetle pulled up with both looking an absolute dream. A beautifully intimate ceremony followed with both Alex and Russ feeling the emotion of the day.
Following the ceremony, we made our way to Hertford castle where a stunning marquee was waiting in the castle gardens. Drinks and nibbles were taken on the lawn before we made our way into the marquee for the wedding breakfast. A quick note to what was one of the most incredible looking marquees I’ve seen in my time as a wedding photographer. Alex & Russ had done a truly amazing job of decorating the marquee.
As expected the speeches went down well, the best man particularly exceeding with a speech that included the measuring of the grooms head. The party went on long into the evening and this wedding will go down as one of the best of the year for me.
Please also have a quick look at their stunning wedding film created by Tim Spatz. This was my first time working with Tim but I hope there’s many more to follow and I can highly recommend his work.
Take a look at their fantastic day.
